We still on the wedding train, and we are really liking the journey! And we had a great time at the Salon du Mariage Luxembourg 2016 at Luxexpo.

During the week we made our homework getting enough inspiration with lots of Pinterest boards, lists of the best venues to get married in Luxembourg and a very detailed list of decorations that you need to have a dreamy wedding,then we were totally ready to our first participation at the expo together with Made in Italy Wedding.

This time we had some very nice partners whose business helped us look lovely, and we would like to tell you a little bit more about them now.

Our first partner is Maison du Fleurs, a family business of flower designers who work with us for many events. They own 2 shops in the north of Luxembourg one in Diekirch and one in Wiltz so maybe you already know them. What we love about Maison du Fleurs is that they have a big amount of flowers that they grow on their own in Portugal and they can recreate any idea or request from our clients for their special events.

Our second partner is Dream Cakes, who put a perfect white flowered cake in the center of our stand. We specially like working with Dream Cakes because not only their cakes look beautiful but they also taste delicious, they are super fluffy and not dry at all. We also love them because they are very creative, every cake comes directly from their imagination and they try to innovate all the time with new techniques and ideas. On the cake they presented at the wedding fair, they worked with handmade white and peach flowers and played with the heights of each cake layer, creating a super wide bottom layer and then a very thin second layer and finally a tall top layer. Our third partner is Options CDS, a party rental company that has beautiful chairs and big rental materials in huge quantities. When we had the idea to represent a golden vintage wedding at the expo, we immediately started looking for a supplier in Luxembourg that would have some items to complement our decoration in big quantities and we found Options CDS. They have a lot of different types of chairs, tables and tableware, so their golden napoleon chairs were matching perfectly with our idea as well as their cutlery Nacre. Normally we, The Party Ville, have a lot of unique and vintage items to rent, but chairs and other items in big quantities is something we don’t have yet and Options is a great partner for us to complete a perfect wedding!

Finally our fourth partner of the night was Crown & Petticoats, which creates beautiful flower crowns and ornaments according to each person’s taste. I could wear a beautiful pink crown during the expo which was super comfortable and made my outfit of the day unique, so now imagine to add a crown like these to the little girl who will enter the church with you or to your bridesmaids? All of them are fully customizable and reusable as they are made with fake flowers.

Apart of using a back lot with beautiful black and white shapes, we decided to decorate with our now classic and vintage reserves.  Of course we are talking about white furniture, old but very well preserved suitcases, flowers, picture frames and gold vases were part of the set. How to put everything without it doesn’t seem too much, here are some of the details we had at the exposition:

Saturday and Sunday we were very pleased to receive potential new clients and to share ideas about their most important day of the year. Up to 7 p.m. each day we were able to give ideas, like what kind of flowers to shop, which kind of crockery you’ll need in case it is an afternoon or night wedding as well of how many ornaments you need depending on the size of your party.
