Through the years, we’ve always wanted to offer not only unique experiences, but also, we’re engaged with providing our customers with quality products. Today, quality, also could mean being eco-friendly. We have a several section of DIY made by our founder, using recycle materials to induce practices and products that are designed to have the minimal impact on the environment.
Being ecofriendly when decorating means, use materials that are renewable, recycled, or biodegradable and contribute to waste reduction in a long term.
At The Party Ville, we’re convinced that adopting a circular economy model, and reusing and recycle, to minimize the amount of waste when having a party is the best way to preserve our natural habitats.
As we only use Christmas decorations once per year, we want to convince yo to follow us in this path and to get on, we’ll present you here 10 ways to have a very ecofriendly Christmas:
Christmas Tree: of course, the main symbol of the season. Artificial trees are made beautifully and on the latest years are made of materials that make them usable for many years minimizing their environmental impact.

If using a real tree, consider buying from sustainable sources or opting for one that can be replanted after the holidays.
For the lights, we’re more inclined into the use of LED lights for decorations, which are more energy-efficient. Of course, we recommend too to time your use of the lights, so the consume is less.
Wrapping of gifts: Of course, the wrapping of gifts it’s a must for some people at Christmas. When doing it think of using recycled or reusable wrapping paper, fabric, or even newspaper to wrap gifts. Avoid printed paper, or plastic, metallic wrapping paper, as it’s often non-recyclable; encourage gift recipients to recycle wrapping paper.

DIY decorations: definitely the most durable and sustainable option, choose decorations made from natural, biodegradable materials or ones that can be reused year after year.
Create your own paper decorations using recycled paper and drawing into it a santa, gingerbread main, snowflakes, origami ornaments.

Here are some materials you can use for the decors:
- Fabric scraps or old clothing
- Fabric garlands
- Reusable fabric gift wraps
- Create ornaments from salt dough or clay
- Natural elements like pinecones, twigs, dried flowers, and branches
- Live plants like potted trees, poinsettias, or rosemary
- Repurpose items you already have at home, like mason jars or glass bottles

Another great idea is to explore thrift stores or online shops and apps for secondhand decorations.
Through awareness and education we’ll increase the concerns and action towards environmental issues, we’re totally on for more sustainable lifestyles and consumption habits.
