Liebster Award!

OMG, this blog post has been waiting on the Drafts folder since very long time, I’ve been just too busy lately and I kept postponing it for later, but I am very very happy that I can finally share with you this great news! So here it goes:

First of all I want to thank the girls of Spiffing Ideas  for nomiating The Party Ville for the Liebster Award. At the moment I found out I was super happy and super excited and I started researching a bit about it, unfortunately as I really wanted to answer the questions with dedication, it has taken me quite some time to do it and finally here it is 😉

So first what is Spiffing Ideas?

The Spiffing Ideas blog is written by 2 lovely girls from Luxembourg: Carole and Thessy, who love to share creative and beautiful food, cooking, DIY, travel, Luxembourg and more ideas in their blog. I really like how both of them work together to bring every time something new to the blog weather it is a great DIY project or the latest restaurant in Luxembourg review. I personally love their crafts projects as they are really useful and beautiful. You can find more about them here.

So now for the Liebster Award, this is what I know so far, “Liebster”means sweetest, nicest, kindest, lovely, etc. in German. This award started back in 2011 on Internet among bloggers as a way to discover new blogs and support the blogging community. It provides 11 questions that the nominated bloggers need to answer and the possibility to nominate new blogs. So here are my 11 questions answered:

1. How do you start your day?

I am not really a morning person, so usually I start with a difficult wake up, but it helps that I am usually motivated to start the day with a new meeting to plan a party, new photos to edit, a new project to write about or just some crafting! Then I have to admit that I usually skip breakfast and just go straight to work 🙂 I hope to improve that soon.

2. How would you describe your blog in 3 words?

Well I guess that The Party Ville blog could be described as: cute, creative and fun.

3. Sweet or salty?

Sweet of course! I totally love sweet things, no wonder that 80% of the recipes at the blog are  recipes for desserts lol and most of the parties include something sweet such as birthday cakes, cupcakes, popcakes, candy bars etc.

4. Which is your favourite restaurant?

Mmm thats a difficult one, as I like to try new restaurants each time, each one totally different, so its difficult to compare, how to compare Italian food vs Indian food for example? Ok, but I guess if I could choose it would be Kathy’s Cupcakery, as I love to go for lunch there often to have a healthy and delicious soup or salad and then finish with a nice cupcake ❤

5. What changed positively through your blog?

Something that changed positively in my life through the blog was discovering the love of crafting parties and sharing them with people, it was only after sharing through the blog that the readers encouraged me to do it as a business and now I can do it also as a job.

6. What is the most beautiful feedback you’ve ever received?

I usually receive very positive feedback from the clients, its difficult to choose one it would be after a Alice in Wonderland party, the mom was so thankful that she did a video of the party to promote my work with the parents in Luxembourg 🙂 Here is the link to the video.

7. What is your life motto?

“Never stop dreaming”

8. What do you prefer to do?

I love to make people happy, I like to be creative and make dreams come true, my way of doing this is through parties.

9. What would you take to a deserted island if you only have room for 5 things in your suitcase?

Mmm… that’s a good question, so as it is a suitcase I cannot take my dog or husband, so thinking about objects I wold take:

1.my laptop with internet on it

2. a laptop battery that would last forever

3. some food that would also last forever,

4. a hammock

5. fire matches

10. What is your favourite spice?

Pumpkin spice mix! Which is a mix of ginger, nutmeg,  cinnamon and salt

11.What do you always want to cook but you have not yet trusted?

I all the time wanted to cook my favourite dessert, which my mom used to cook for me and my brothers back in Mexico, the name is chongos zamoranos. The recipe its pretty easy just milk + sugar + rennet tablets for curdling milk. It is because I have no idea of where to find the rennet tablets that I have not dared to cook this dessert, in Mexico we used to buy them at the pharmacy, but in Luxembourg I really have no idea! Probably I will end up buying it on internet.

So finally all the questions are answered!! Im so happy to share with you a little bit about The Party Ville and my life :). Now its my time to nominate two bloggers, so here is my nomination:
