This party was so much fun! The weather helped a lot so we could celebrate an outdoors tropical party in a wonderful terrace! A tropical housewarming party is a great way to invite friends and your new neighbors to your new place and get to know each other better.

I was very happy when I was asked to organise such a party with this warm and tropical theme, and immediately started to think of ways that we could decorate the venue indoors and outdoors.

To decorate outdoors we had a lot of colourful paper lanterns hanging on twine to give a fun and colourful look to the terrace. Then we added some tables to place the food and drinks and decorated them with table clothes in tropical motives and Hawaiian table skirts.

Finally we had tropical themed beverage holders, umbrella picks, tropical fruits and prepared fresh piña colada cocktails for the guests.  To keep on a summer mood we distributed flower necklaces and tropical flower head clips. People were enjoying themselves while eating some grilled specialties and dancing tropical music!
