I really love the Bohemian theme for a party, as you can use a lot of flowers, colours and vintage elements. It allows a lot of imagination to adapt the party decorations and activities to the audience and it is a great theme for adults or for children.

Last year I planned a Boho Chic themed party for an audience of young adults as you can see here, so I was happy to be asked this year to plan a Bohemian theme for an audience of kids and adults.

So of course as for every party I created an inspiration board on Pinterest to get some ideas and inspiration for the party and you can see it here or on the blog post: 10 Boho Party Ideas.

For the party, we had a combination of flowers and feathers. So we had a lot of flowers, natural flowers and paper flowers to decorate the place. I also created some colourful flower vases upcycling some glass jars and glass bottles, if you want to DIY check here the step by step tutorial.

For the table, I gathered some wild flowers and wooden pieces from the garden and made a table runner with them and added some golden upcycled glass bottles as table center pieces. And to decorate each plate, I wrapped the napkins into twine and added a feather to give a boho look.

Finally to entertain the kids we had a giant Tipi set up and created some activities such as to create their own dreamcatcher and their own flower bracelets with buttons.
