Winter Ball Party

WINTER BALLTo celebrate Christmas at Millicom, I had the opportunity to work together with Carte-Blanche Events to organize the corporate Christmas party, it was great to collaborate with them to make this party a reality. This was a very special party, as we were also celebrating the 25 years of Millicom, so the expectations were very high.

So the inspiration about the party came from the lovely castle of Septfontaines in Luxembourg, who belongs to Villeroy & Boch. The castle is small but very beautiful full of antique details and reminded me a little bit of a fairy tale. So the theme for this party had to be something magical, frozen, elegant and professional, so after thinking a long time after the different themed options, the idea of a Winter Ball came into place.

A Winter Ball, because a ball brings back the idea of the past, those years when the castle was used and occupied to make elegant parties. Also because it is another name to call a dance party and it sounds very elegant and sophisticated. And finally because when you say Winter Ball you are able to create a full winter atmosphere that reminds you of Christmas and the winter season.

So as you might already be guessing I started to create an inspiration board to create an image of how the party should be looking and share this images with the person’s who will be helping to provide the different services.

The program of the party was the following:

7:00 – 8:00  People arrive and have finger food and champagne

8:00 – 9:00  Small video, welcome speech and awards of the year

9:00 – 10:00 Sitting dinner

10:00 – 10:30 25th Anniversary Cake, happy birthday song and company video

10:30 – 13:00 Dancing time

Here is the inspiration board and some pictures of the party, what do you think?
