This one is one of my favourite parties, because I think that baby showers are so sweet. Even though baby showers are not so popular in Europe, I think that little by little they are becoming more and more known, specially among the expats community in Luxembourg. So I was very happy to be able to organise the decorations of this lovely Airplane Baby Shower in Luxembourg for a very nice American family.

The Airplane theme is really a nice theme for a baby shower as you can play around with many words and concepts that have to do with travelling and airplanes, for example in this party, one of the main phrases was: “Precious Cargo” as the mom to be is caring a very precious “pack” to be delivered soon. Also we played around with the frase: “Time Flies”, “Luggage drop off” for the gifts table, “Baggage Claim” for the thank you favours and finally we added a sign that said”Next stop: Parenthood”.

The main colours of the theme were blue and red, as they are colours for a baby boy and also the colours used for the US post. Finally, we also had a lot of clouds decoration, to transform the place into an environment like in heaven in between the clouds so people felt like they were flying, and at the end of the baby shower event we gave away some favours to the guests that said: “Thanks for flying with us”

Finally we had a very nice cake baked by the talented Sweet Lily with the theme of Airplane.
